McHenry Director of Economic Development Douglas Martin said recently that a new CVS Pharmacy scheduled to open in January in the city could mean job opportunities for city residents.
The CVS Pharmacy is seeking to hire 15-20 full-time employees before opening the store at Elm and Front on Jan 24.
The store held a job fair Dec. 10, but will be looking to fill positions up until the store's opening. The official grand opening of the store will be held a few weeks after Jan. 24.
Martin also is seeking feedback from the community for information about great businesses in the city, as he is preparing a year in review for local businesses.
Martin said he is preparing a McHenry economic development and community year in review and would like to feature businesses that have expanded or opened in the 2015 calendar year.
