Village of Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation board to discuss adopt-a-park at Jan. 7 meeting.
The Parks and Recreation Board of the Village of Lake in the Hills is set to meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 7 for the first time in 2016.
Major discussion topics, which will allow for audience participation, will include an adopt-a-park presentation as well as recognition for Eagle Scout/ALITHSA.
New business will include the discussion of the recreation master plan.
Other items on the agenda include staff reports, trustee liaison report, member comments, audience participation and adjournment.
The Parks and Recreation board is composed of seven members, which are selected by the village president. All members are residents of Village of Lake in the Hills. The board recommends parks programs, while ensuring the continual development of the parks.
Members include chairperson Diane Tredore and John Andrea, Erik Quandee, Diane Murphy, Nicole Sandage, Ann Carbonelli and James Heller.
The meeting will be held at Village Hall, which is located at 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month and are open to the public.
