The resignation of Woodstock Opera House Advisory Commission Vice Chair Ed Hall was among the items discussed at the Nov. 17 meeting of the Woodstock Opera House.
According to Commission Chair Tony Casalino, Hall resigned from his position due to health reasons; and Keith Johnson, who fills the commission’s member-at-large position, was named vice chair through 2015.
Other items that were discussed included the success of the production of the TownSquare Players’ rendition of White Christmas. At the time of the meeting, it had made $47,000 in revenue. Roger Zawacki, representing the group, stated that Mary Poppins will be performed starting in March.
John Puzzo, representing Friends of the Opera House, announced that the reception for the Night of the Lightning is currently in preparation. Details regarding the That’s Amore event were also discussed. Puzzo reported that the event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13, and tickets will cost $35.
This meeting marked the end of the meeting calendar for 2015. The meeting notes indicate that the next commission meeting will take place at 4:30 p.m. local time Tuesday, Jan. 19.
