The Woodstock Electrical Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Department of Community Development to consider adopting a new electrical code for the city.
The commission will discuss the ramifications of implementing the 2014 National Electrical Code, the most current set of electrical standards and safety guidelines for electricity installation, design and inspection.
The next update is expected in 2017.
The meeting will be held in the second floor conference room at the Department of Community Development, 121 W. Calhoun St.
