The Port Barrington Village Board will meet as a committee of the whole at 7 p.m. Wednesday to discuss stormwater system repair updates and issues relating to well depth.

Village trustees are scheduled to discuss updates to RiverWalk Stormwater repairs that are currently ongoing. These repairs are associated with the village’s stormwater management program that operated under Lake County ordinances for watershed development. The work is also associated with measures that the village is required to take in order to eliminate water pollution within the storm drain system.

The trustees will also be discussing a proposed ordinance that would revise requirements associated with private wells and treatment systems.

The Health and Safety Department will also be discussing the schedule for village cleanup operations. This meeting will also have agenda items from the finance, building and zoning, forestry and police departments that will also be discussed.
