Port Barrington village trustees decided to review investments to the Illinois Fund during its Dec. 2 committee of the whole meeting.

Village President, Shannon Yeaton also directed Donna Erfort to determine where funds would be needed and take what steps are necessary to redirecting funding options.

During the meeting, the Finance Department reported that vehicle taxes were being collected and that a tax levy was to be approved at the following meeting.

Agenda items from the Health and Safety, Streets and Roads and Building and Zoning departments included the confirmation that utilities were cut at 107 S. Circle and demolition was on hold until the ground freezes to minimize damage from the equipment.

The meeting notes also indicate that the Fire Department has requested address signs be corrected.
