The Algonquin Village Board will consider a recommendation to reject bids associated with the Snapper Field rehabilitation project during its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Public Works Department had made a request for bids for services relating to developing the field area. An earlier article in McHenry Times said bids were sought to add facilities at the park including an ice rink, path upgrades, a pool and splash deck and new courts for basketball.
The board will also be discussing approvals of an amendment to the Algonquin zoning ordinance and a five-year extension to a contract relating to the RSR Warehouse Final Planned Development.
The board will also consider accepting an intergovernmental agreement with Carpentersville, a demolition bid from the Langos Corp. for buildings located on 20 S. Harrison St. and 103 W. Algonquin Rd.and an agreement with Midland Standard Engineering & Testing Inc. for three years of geotechnical services.
