The Huntley Village Board will be meet at 7 p.m. Thursday to discuss an adjustment to the budget that would facilitate wastewater treatment plant improvements.
This adjustment would add $25,000 to the sewer equipment replacement fund to go toward the purchase of a reconditioned grinder to be used at the west wastewater treatment facility. The grinder would be procured from JWC Environmental.
The meeting's agenda lists this item is a part of the consent agenda which includes five other items. Among these are the approval of bills totaling $312,377.97, authorization of a professional services agreement with Christopher B. Burke Engineering Ltd. and a final payment to Elmund & Nelson Co. related to a dry utility replacement plan for the downtown area.
