The Holiday Hills Village Board discussed preparations for the village's 40-year anniversary during its Jan. 18 meeting.
The meeting minutes state that Village Trustee Lou French would be looking into pricing information regarding a venue for the celebration of this event. The minutes also state that the board would be voting on the budget for this matter during its meeting on Feb. 1.
The board voted to approve a warrant and a balance sheet for the month of December and the annual audit of the village’s finances.
During the public comment section there were discussions regarding the testing of the village’s water supply and an increase in water bills. Residents also commended the snow removal practices during the previous snowfall.
