Crystal Lake has approved a sign measure for the Bohl Farm Marketplace.
The Crystal Lake City Council voted March 1 to approve an ordinance that grants an amendment to the planned unit development for the Bohl Farm Marketplace.
The amendment will allow changes to signage in the area that includes 48-inch lettering for Party City. It also will facilitate the removal of the store’s tagline from the wall signage, allow Planet Fitness to utilize 140 square feet for sign purposes. The amendment also allows a change to elevation requirements for Planet Fitness.
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the amendment after its held a public hearing on thes matter on Feb. 17.
