Two Crystal Lake high school students, Travis Piotrowski, a senior at Prairie Ridge High School, and Lenny Petersen, a junior at Central High School, each won first place in their weight class at the Illinois High School Association state wrestling tournament.
Piotrowski won in the 126-pound weight class. Petersen won in the 138-pound weight class. Central High School senior Austin Parks earned second place in the 220-pound weight class. Michael Petersen, also a senior at Central High School, came in third in the 145-pound weight class.
