The Algonquin Public Arts Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the annual Art on Fox art show.
The show is scheduled to be held June 18 and 19 in the downtown area of the village along the Fox River. The show features Midwest artists.
The village website states that the application for showcasing work is due by May 15. There is a $20 application charge and a $135 fee. The website states that art is not limited to any specific genre or style.
The show features tents for children’s activities and the central area of the event space will feature live musical performances. The show is hosted by the village government and the Public Arts Commission.

There also will be a discussion regarding a student art exhibit during this meeting.
