Crystal Lake to consider becoming a Tree City

The Crystal Lake City Council will consider becoming a Tree City USA member.

The Crystal Lake City Council will meet 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to consider authorizing the city manager to sign documentation pertaining to becoming a Tree City USA member.

The council also is scheduled to discuss a resolution authorizing participation in the 2016 Suburban Purchase Cooperative Pavement Marking Joint Purchasing Program for the purchase of thermoplastic pavement markings.

Public hearings also are slated on the city's annual budget for fiscal year 2016-17 and the salary ordinance for fiscal year 2016-17.
