Crystal Lake City Council to discuss garage setback, police uniform contract

The Crystal Lake City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The City Council consists of the mayor and six City Council members who lead Crystal Lake by envisioning and setting the city’s direction and goals,  establishing policies, and passing laws involving matters that include finance and budgeting, community development, and appearance and legal issues.

The public is invited to make an issue oriented comment on any matter of public concern not otherwise on the agenda. The public comment may be no longer than 5 minutes in duration. Personal invectives against City staff or elected officials are not permitted.

a. Kensington (Formerly Bryn Mawr Phase II)-Motion to continue the public hearing on the annexation agreement amendment to the June 7, 2016 City Council meeting.

b. Moe-B-Dick’s North Shore Pub, 1050 North Shore Drive – Temporary Use Permit request to allow a washer tournament for Saturday, June 11, Saturday, August 13 & Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

c. Resolution authorizing a sign to be placed along the City rights-of-way recognizing high school students for winning State championships.
