The registration deadline for youth girls and boys basketball leagues in the Woodstock Recreation Department is Dec. 1, according to WoodstockRecreationDepartment.com.
There will be separate leagues for girls basketball in grades 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6. The girls grades 1-2 and 5-6 leagues will have games Saturdays starting Jan. 2, while the girls grades 3-4 will have games Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays starting Jan. 2.
Boys-basketball leagues for grades 1-3 also will start Saturdays beginning Jan. 2. Third-graders will have a separate league.
All practice and game times and locations will be announced. Coaches will contact their players during the week of Dec. 26.
Fees are $80 for residents and $100 for nonresidents until Dec. 1, with fees going up $20 for registrations after that date. Fees will include basketballs and reversible jerseys.
