The 2017 co-rec volleyball and men's winter half-court hoops leagues will start soon in McHenry, according to the city's website.
The volleyball league begins play at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 19 at the McHenry High School East Campus upper gym, with play continuing each Thursday through April 13, except for March 30. League play is a double round-robin format with playoffs. Cost is $325 per team. The league is for players ages 18 and older.
The hoops league begins at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17 at the McHenry Middle School gym and continues each Tuesday through April 11, except for Feb. 21 and March 14. The league has a three-on-three format, with each team having a minimum of four to six players ages 18 and older. Cost per team to enter the league is $225.
