Registration recently opened for two youth basketball programs, according to the McHenry Parks and Recreation Department's online program guide.
Globe Trotters Basketball is hosting two divisions, each of which started Jan. 11 at the Riverwood School gym in McHenry.

Costs to register are $45 for residents and $55 for nonresidents.
The Pee Wee Basketball League, which is for players in grades 1-2, will be held from 9-11 a.m. from Jan. 21 through March 11 at the Duker School gym. Fundamentals instruction and team forming will take place during the first three weeks.
Fees are $70 per resident and $80 per nonresident.
