Every two years, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) requires the village of Algonquin to survey water customers.
The purpose of the survey is to develop a program to replace the current comprehensive cross connection control program to better protect the village’s water.
This January, all residents of the village should be on the lookout for a survey with the January water bill. The survey can be mailed, emailed (surveys@aquabackflow.com) or faxed (866-777-2124). There is also an online form as an alternative.
Aqua Backflow, which specializes in cross connection control management, is the official contractor hired for the Algonquin program. Representatives may contact residents if further testing, repairs or installations are needed based on survey results.
