Here is the minutes provided by the Commission:

Call to Order:

On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, a meeting of the Village of Huntley Police Commission was called to order at 3:00 p.m. at the Municipal Complex, Conference Room C107, 10987 Main Street, Huntley, Illinois 60142. This room is handicap accessible.

Attendance:

Present: Chairman Don Arseneau

Secretary Jim Burgess

Commissioner Bryant Haniszewski

Chrissy Hoover, Human Resources Manager

Chief of Police Robert Porter

Public Comments:

None

A Motion was made to approve the February 15, 2017 General Session Commission Meeting Minutes.

Moved: Secretary Burgess

Seconded: Commissioner Haniszewski

The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.

A Motion was made to approve the February 15, 2017 Executive Session Minutes for content only.

Moved: Secretary Burgess

Seconded: Commissioner Haniszewski

The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.

Recess to Executive Session at 3:02 p.m.

The General Session Reconvened at 3:48 p.m.

A Motion was made to proceed with a conditional offer and continue the applicant process for Kevin Choklad and

Thomas Dvorak to fill an open Police Officer position.

Moved: Chairman Don Arseneau

Seconded: Secretary Burgess

The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.

A Motion was made to not move forward with applicant two and strike them from the Police Officer Eligibility List.

Moved: Commissioner Haniszewski

Seconded: Secretary Burgess

The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.

A Motion was made to adjourn at 3:51 p.m.

Moved: Secretary Burgess

Seconded: Commissioner Haniszewski

The Voice Vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.
