Rep. Steve Reick (R-Woodstock) and Sen. Pamela Althoff (R-Crystal Lake) want to hear from residents and talk to them about the state budget and state government in general, according to a posting on Reick's website.
The two legislators are teaming up to hold a trio of town hall meetings across the state in September and October during which they will give a presentation about the budget and take questions from attendees.
The first meeting was held Sept. 19 at McHenry City Hall.

Upcoming meetings are scheduled for Oct. 4 at Woodstock City Hall, 121 W Calhoun St., and Oct. 11 at Marengo City Hall, 132 E. Prairie St.
All meetings will start at 6:30 p.m. and are free to the public.
