E. Manager's Report No. 98

1. Ordinance – The Cherry Tree Inn Bed and Breakfast, LLC

Approval of an Ordinance Amending Section 3.3.6, Classification of Licenses; Number and Fees of the Woodstock City Code which would increase the number of Class J liquor licenses by one and issue this license to The Cherry Tree Inn Bed and Breakfast.

2. Ordinance – Benton Street No Parking Extension

Approval of an Ordinance establishing certain temporary parking and traffic regulations associated with the placement of the Benton Street Boardwalk be extended through October 14, 2017 or when removal is completed, whichever comes first.

3. Award of Contract– Dream Field Netting

Award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Midwest Netting Solutions, LLC, Glenview, IL for the installation of Dream Field Backstop Netting in accordance with the project specifications for an amount not-to-exceed $35,300.

4. Waive Competitive Bids and Authorize Purchase – Pitless Adapter for Well #10

a) Approval to Waive Competitive Bids; and

b) Authorize the Purchase of a Baker Pitless Adapter through the authorized Byron Jackson pump representative, Layne Christensen Company, at their unit cost of $24,260.

5. Agreement – Police/High School Liaison

Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Agreement between Woodstock Community Unit School District #200 and the City of Woodstock for the School Resource Officer Program.

6. Police Pension – Property Tax Levy Request

a) Transmittal of the annual statement for the Police Pension Plan’s 2016/2017 fiscal year; and

b) Transmittal of the actuarial report presented by the Police Pension Board.

7. Agreement - Audio and Visual Improvements for Council Meetings/Chambers

a) Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Agreement with Granicus as the City’s video-streaming provider;

b) Approval to purchase additional video-streaming equipment for a cost not to exceed $14,150; and

c) Approval to purchase the proposed technology upgrades for the City Council Chambers for a cost not to exceed $15,200.

8. Ordinance –Street Closure for Annual Lighting of the Square

Approval of an Ordinance establishing a temporary parking and traffic regulations be adopted for the 2017 Lighting of the Square Event scheduled for Friday, November 24, 2017.

9. Award of Contract – Holiday Lighting for Annual Lighting of the Square

a) Award of contract for services to install, maintain, and remove holiday lights for the 2017 season be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, GRO Horticultural Enterprises Inc., for the total bid price not-to-exceed $29,680; and

b) Approve the purchase of incandescent, clear LED and multi-colored LED string lights from Windy City Lights, West Chicago, for a total price of $14,000.
