Veterans can make sure they and their families are receiving all of the benefits they earned through their military service at the McHenry Veteran Expo on Nov. 9.
Sponsored by the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce, the expo will present “perks you’ve earned because you served," according to the chamber’s website.
“Local businesses and veterans organizations will provide goodies and information about incentives, services and products available to you because of your military service,” the website says. In addition, staff from the Illinois Department of Employment Security will be available to do a benefits review. The expo will feature refreshments and door prize drawings.
The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith’s Central Garage at 3315 Pearl St. in McHenry.
