High school and college students in McHenry County are encouraged to enter the county’s annual Anti-Tobacco Media Design Contest, which uses state funds to increase awareness of the dangers of smoking.
A McHenry Department of Health release said this year's theme is “The Truth About E-Cigarettes” and the deadline for submitting entries is Jan. 31, when judges will evaluate them based on their creativity and appeal to the target youth audience.
This marks the 14th year of the contest, which is accepting entries through area art teachers or the county’s website, http://mcdh.info. For more information, call 815-334-4852.
