Analysis: Lake in the Hills pays $3.13 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Algonquin Lake In The Hills Fpd Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.9 percent of the $1,500,029 the Algonquin Lake In The Hills Fpd Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.13 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lake in the Hills contributed $1,138,707 to the fund, which saw a $77,365 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $363,559, or 24.2 percent, in 2016.
