Analysis: Huntley pays $1.49 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Huntley Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 59.9 percent of the $991,609 the Huntley Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $1.49 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Huntley contributed $594,422 to the fund, which saw a $226,017 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $397,187, or 40.1 percent, in 2016.
