Analysis: Woodstock pays $3.13 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Woodstock Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.8 percent of the $1,249,082 the Woodstock Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.13 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Woodstock contributed $946,589 to the fund, which saw a $23,275 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $302,301, or 24.2 percent, in 2016. Another $192 came from other unspecified sources.
