Meeting called to order at 7:01 pm

Roll Call Present: Topf, McIntosh, Gay, Naatz, Palys, Reinhard, Windler

Absent: Anderson, Learman

A quorum was established with 4 Trustees

Attorney Present

Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Board Meeting held February 7, 2018

Motion by: Trustee Palys

Second by: Trustee Reinhard

Discussion: None

Corrections: The meeting year needs to be changed from 2017 to 2018.

Approval of the Minutes of the Committee of the Whole Meeting held February 21, 2018

Approval to send a Minor Variance Request to Planning & Zoning Commission

Motion by: Trustee Palys

Second by: Trustee Reinhard

Discussion: Village President Topf informed the Board that there are 2 issues to be reviewed by P&Z. Village Attorney Curran informed the Board that the P&Z Commission will have to schedule a Public Hearing.

Clerk:

 Statement of Economic Interest – watch for an email from the County Clerk. If do not receive an email, please inform Village Clerk McIntosh.

Attorney:

 Statement of Economic Interest – needs to be filed with the County Clerk by May 1, 2018

 Invoice from T.P. Mathews – sent letter stating the Village does not owe

 Complimentary Letter from State’s Attorney – the letter was for the successful DUI Prosecutions

 Vacant House – unpaid invoice

 IEPA Loan – no referendum certificate was files so Village Attorney Curran will prepare a letter for the State

 Special Use Public Hearing – P&Z Commission proceeding with the Public Hearing

Ordinances:

Approval of Ordinance No. 435/A2, an Ordinance Enacting and Adopting a Supplement to the Code of

Ordinances for the Village of Wonder Lake, McHenry County, Illinois

Motion by: Trustee Palys

Second by: Trustee Reinhard

Discussion: Village President Topf informed the Board that the Supplement includes the Ordinances that were passed over the last year.

Engineering: Steve Zehner, Robinson Engineering – Not Present – Nothing at this time

Financial: Trustee Naatz – Present

 Budget – doing good; Treasurer Gay now has the department budgets

ESDA/Health: Trustee Palys – Present – Nothing at this time

Planning & Zoning Commission: Chairperson Jim Cavanaugh – Not Present

 Ordinance for Rentals – Village President Topf informed the Board that P&Z working on a draft

Police: Chief Crilly – Present

 Received Two Grants – one for additional Patrol Hours and the other for 4 new computers at no cost, the County will program the computers at no cost.

General Affairs: Trustee Reinhard – Present

 Softball and Soccer - will be confirming the Park Directors soon

Public Works: Chuck Bissell, Public Works Director– Present

 Snow – have plenty of salt

Sewer and Water: Trustee Anderson – Not Present – Letter Hand Out dated March 1, 2018 – Village President Topf reported the following:

 Preventative Maintenance – ongoing projects

 Red Tags – placed 120 red tags and received 95 return calls with payments and 10 residences were shut off

 8907 Ramble Road – mailed owner communication detailing the work preformed on January 12, 2018 and requested payment

Communications/Public Relations: Trustee Windler – Present – Nothing at this time

Committee Reports: None

Old Business: None

New Business:

 Harrison School – Superintendent Sue Wings provided a slide presentation updating the Board on the Construction work

 Meeting Room Layout – working on drawing of possible new layout so the Board members can hear each other better
