Village of Richmond Community Development Committee met May 1.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

The Community Development Committee meeting held at the Village Hall, 5600 Hunter Drive was called to order by Trustee Robert Elliott at 5:30 PM.

Present: Trustees: Robert Elliott and Frank Peiler.

Members Absent: Chair/Trustee David Nelson.

Others Village Officials/Staff Present: None.

Approval of Minutes: The committee reviewed the Special Community Development Committee minutes for April 17, 2018.

Trustee Peiler moved, seconded by Trustee Elliott to approve the Special Community Development Committee minutes for April 17, 2018 as presented. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Unfinished Business: None.

Public Comments: None.

New Business: The committee discussed the status of the Richmond Night Out/Illinois Bicentennial event with Event Coordinator Goebel. Confirmed was two food trucks, a DJ, a corn station by Rotary and hot dogs served by National Honor Society Student. Still pending are the following: Petting zoo, Elite Gym from Spring Grove, Lincoln look-a-like costumed actor and possible Civil War re-enactors.

Adjournment: There being no further business to discuss, Trustee Elliott moved, seconded by Trustee Peiler to adjourn the May 1, 2018 Special Community Development Committee meeting. The motion was approved by voice vote.

Meeting adjourned at 6:45 PM.
