Centegra Health System - Mc Henry Hospital issued the following announcement on July 2.
Dr. Margarita Fliman, a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist with the Centegra Back & Spine Center, will talk to community members about osteoarthritis from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Centegra Hospital-McHenry, 4201 W. Medical Center Drive, in Classroom A.
Stiffness, pain and instability in the knees can be signs of osteoarthritis, a condition that nearly half of all Americans will develop at some point in their lifetime. At “TLC for Your Knees,” Fliman will discuss how to prevent, manage and treat knee osteoarthritis.
The talk is part of Healthy Doses, a series of free information sessions led by clinical experts from Centegra Health System on health care topics.
