McHENRY COUNTY: Wetland Restoration Fund - Request for Projects for 2018-2019 Funding

McHenry County issued the following announcement on Oct. 5.

The McHenry County Department of Planning and Development – Water Resources Division is hereby issuing notice that the County is accepting applications for competitive funding of wetland restoration/enhancement/creation projects in the Fox River Watershed through the county’s Wetland Restoration Fund (WRF). Applications are due by Monday, December 3, 2018 at 4:00pm, CDT. McHenry County estimates up to $138,480 (One Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand, Four Hundred Eighty Dollars and Zero Cents) in project funding for projects through the WRF.

Applications are being accepted for wetland restoration/enhancement/creation projects in the Fox River Watershed (East Nippersink Creek Watershed, West Nippersink Creek Watershed, Upper Fox River Watershed and Lower Fox River Watershed).
