State Senate race: Democrat Georges wins voter tally in Algonquin Township Precinct 12

Tom Georges led Republican Dan McConchie in votes cast in Algonquin Township Precinct 12 for the District 26 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Georges appeared to outpace McConchie by a margin of 1.1 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
