State Senate race: Democrat Georges wins voter tally in Algonquin Township Precinct 8

Tom Georges led Republican Dan McConchie in votes cast in Algonquin Township Precinct 8 for the District 26 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Georges appeared to outpace McConchie by a margin of 2.3 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
