Q2 real estate sales report: Woodstock

Median prices declined in Woodstock over last year, and are down 17.4 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 147 homes sold in Woodstock for a median price of $170,000. That's 4.4 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, 8 homes in Woodstock were in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Woodstock was $5,311.21 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 3 percent of their home's value in taxes.
