Staff from the Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC) will lead a discussion on accessible transit services in the County. Focus will be on trends, trip purposes and broader issues, rather than the specifics of route or service planning. Discussion outcomes will help to guide the MPC in terms of the broader types of regional policy recommendations that may be included in their current study.
Since 1934, the Metropolitan Planning Council has been dedicated to shaping a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous greater-Chicago region. As an independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, MPC serves communities and residents by developing, promoting and implementing solutions for sound regional growth.
