Lake in the Hills home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Lake in the Hills rose by $33,250 while total sales increased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 77 homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,000 - a 17% increase over the $195,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Lake in the Hills in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Lake in the Hills for 2017 was $5,878.95. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,895.40. This marks an decrease of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
