Algonquin (McHenry County) home prices fall in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Algonquin in McHenry County fell by $22,750 while total sales decreased by 5.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were 34 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 10.2% decrease over the $222,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Algonquin in November 2016.

The median sales tax in Algonquin for 2017 was $6,495.14. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,407.60. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.2%.
