Richmond home prices fall in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Richmond fell by $69,500 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,000 - a 38.1% decrease over the $182,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Richmond in November 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Richmond for 2017 was $4,178.93. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,106.20. This marks an increase of 1.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.7%.
