The data shows that the six released offenders living in the Wonder Lake zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 32. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 37-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brett Brenner. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2016, when he was 33 years old. He is now 36.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
