Village of Huntley Police Department recently issued the following announcement.
Come to the Police Department on Tuesday, August 6, from 6 - 8 pm to meet your officers and neighbors, check out some first responder equipment, and tour the Police facilities in honor of National Night Out Against Crime (NNO).
We'll also have activities and games for the kids and information on our volunteer groups.
National Night Out is a community-building campaign, held annually on the first Tuesday of August, that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
Huntley Police Department encourages all residents to turn on outside lights and asks them to go outside and meet their neighbors for NNO. Officers will be driving through the subdivisions to meet with residents who are outside, and will also be attending neighborhood parties.
