HUNTLEY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 158: Community Engagement Session Jan. 21 to Focus on Safety, Social-Emotional Learning

Hs 08

Huntley Community School District 158 issued the following announcement on Jan. 2.

ALL Huntley 158 families and community members are encouraged to participate in the Destination 158 Community Engagement Session January 21, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Huntley High School. The topics of discussion will be safety, security and social-emotional learning. The evening will feature a presentation by District administrators with responsibility for these areas followed by a group activity to gather the input of participants around these issues.

These topics have repeatedly been rated as the top areas of concern for our families, and it is vital that the District get direct input from the community as it prepares to create its next strategic plan.

Free childcare and activities are available for families with young children, provided by the HHS National Honor Society.

RSVP is encouraged to assist with planning. Please RSVP online and visit destination158.com for information on past and future meetings.
