HUNTLEY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 158: Final Destination 158 Community Engagement Sessions

Huntley Community School District 158 issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.

To complete its Destination 158 community engagement process, Huntley Community School District 158 will host two community engagement sessions on Tuesday, March 10.

The District will host a morning session from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for residents of Del Webb’s Sun City at the Drendel Ballroom and an evening session from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for all area residents at Huntley High School.

All residents of Del Webb’s Sun City Huntley are invited to attend a presentation by Huntley Community School District 158 administrators followed by small-group activity through which attendees can provide feedback to shape the District’s future financial, academic, and operational strategies.

The presentation will cover District finances, academic achievement, safety and security efforts, community relations, educational equity efforts, and more.

General Session

All residents of Huntley 158 are invited to attend the final Destination 158 Community Engagement Session to help the District form its strategic direction for the next several years. The District has held five community engagement sessions during the previous months, covering a wide range of topics and soliciting feedback from attendees to inform its next strategic plan.

In this meeting, attendees will have an opportunity to reflect on priority statements as formed based on prior feedback, as well as to offer additional input into the planning process.

The event will be held in the HHS Cafeteria/Commons, and light refreshments will be served. Complimentary childcare will be provided.
