ALDEN HEBRON SCHOOL DISTRICT 19: High School Girls Softball Challenge

Alden Hebron School District 19 issued the following announcement on May 5.

Congratulations to our Top 4 Softball Players of the week! The High School Softball Team recently had a Moving Challenge with their team. The girls were to track and update all their active time throughout the week. Here are the results.

Kendra Cashmore, Junior #20

Kendra is this week’s winner. Kendra stayed active for 720 minutes throughout this last week. Kendra said “to keep me motivated, I would set an active goal on my watch to try to exceed that goal. When the weather is nice out too it keeps me motivated.

Rhayn stayed active for 705 minutes throughout this last week. Rhayn said “I spent a lot of time walking/bike riding and going out to the field with my mom and we would run some drills that we could together.”

Carly Gritmacker, Senior #26

Carly stayed active for 695 minutes throughout this last week. Carly said “I kept active by carrying a baby and walking around a lot. I’d also run up and down the stairs and when I went to my grandparents house I would go hiking in their woods.”

Korhyn “Curry” Geary, Sophomore #30

Curry stayed active for 485 minutes throughout this last week. Curry said “I went on walks and bike rides. Also one day I walked around Lake Geneva.”
