Huntley Community School District 158 issued the following announcement on May 8.
Huntley Community Radio wants to celebrate our graduates on the Saturday they were originally scheduled to celebrate at the NIU Convocation Center (May 16). This community celebration is in no way a replacement of the ceremony, but it is intended to allow the entire community to show how proud we are of our Seniors and serve as something positive and joyful to enjoy together while apart.
Anyone who would like to send a video clip or leave an audio clip can do so by emailing the video clip to grad@huntleyradio.org (which could also be shared on the HCR Facebook page) or calling the listener line at 224-650-7620 and leaving their audio only message.
The radio station is requesting that audio or video clips not exceed 30 seconds, be filmed with phones held horizontally, and include basic generic information.
