Analysis: Lake in the Hills pays $3.88 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lake In The Hills Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.3 percent of the $1,727,347 the Lake In The Hills Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.88 for every $1 from pension members, according to a McHenry Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lake in the Hills contributed $1,369,010 to the fund, which saw a $51,815 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $352,025, or 20.4 percent, in 2018. Another $6,312 came from other unspecified sources.
