Crystal Lake Community Consolidated School District 47 recently issued the following announcement.

Starting Monday, August 24, 2020, breakfast and lunch will be available for all registered District 47 students. During remote learning, meals will be provided to families as a drive-through service at Hannah Beardsley Middle School (515 E. Crystal Lake Ave.). Distribution will occur on Mondays from 7:30am to 10am and from 3pm to 6pm. If a holiday falls on a Monday, delivery will be on Tuesday.

PRE-ORDERS: Parents/guardians will need to pre-order meals each week via an electronic form on the District website. A variety of food choices for both breakfast and lunch will be provided and menus will be posted to the Sodexo website as they have been in the past. Parents/guardians will choose breakfast and lunch items for each day of the week and must submit one form for each child. Orders must be submitted by 2pm on Fridays to be able to pick up meals the following Monday.

COST: The cost for meals depends on students’ eligibility for the school meals program. Meal prices are included on the order form. The cost of the ordered meals will be charged to the student’s lunch account. Payments can be made using My Payments Plus (see the application at https://www.d47.org/Page/1498). Cash/checks (made payable to “District 47”) are also acceptable forms of payment and may be provided at food pick-up. (Please provide your student’s name/school to ensure payments are recorded appropriately.)

QUESTIONS: For questions about food orders, please contact Sodexo at foodservice@d47.org. For questions about the free/reduced lunch program, please visit the Student Fees page of the District 47 website or contact Corinna Erb at cerb@d47.org.
