In zip code 60050, three voters over the age of 100 are registered to vote and have voted in recent elections, according to the Illinois Secretary of State.

The oldest of these voters, Erik Hoary, is 109 years old. One voter was over 105 years old, making up 33.33% of the registered centenarian voters in the zip code. According to the American Society on Aging, there are an estimated 80,000 centenarians in the United States.

Statewide, the oldest voter is Tim Dial at 118 years old. There are 42 individuals on Illinois voter rolls who are currently listed as having been born before the oldest living person in the United States, Hester Ford. Ford was born August 15, 1905, according to the Supercentenarian Research Foundation. This could indicate that the state's voter registration data is outdated or that deceased voters are not being removed from the registry and someone is voting in their name.
