City of Crystal Lake Historic Preservation Commission met Sept. 3.

4) Approval of Minutes of the August 6, 2020 Regular Meeting
5) Crystal Lake Cemetery Certificate of Appropriateness
Discussion and a motion on the Eagle Scout project proposed by Mitchell Hopkins to clean some headstones at the Crystal Lake (Lake Avenue) Cemetery.
6) Ordinance and Solar Panels
Review the Historic Preservation Ordinance and discuss if solar panels are permitted, if they require a Certificate of Appropriateness, and if they would likely be approved or denied.
7) Landmark Discussion
General discussion about possible properties that could be landmarked. Discussion regarding the homes at 50 S. Caroline Street, 174 Eastview, and others. Review of potential mailing and contacting property owners.
