Fox River Grove Fire Protection District responded to 72 calls in 2018 - 28.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Fox River Grove included 45 fires - 37 structure fires, one vehicle fire and seven other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $158,250 in fire loss - or about $3,517 per fire.

The department also received 26 false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury.

The Fox River Grove Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $1,466,884 in 2018.
