Crystal Lake Community Consolidated School District 47 recently issued the following announcement.
D47 Board of Education Meeting
Monday, October 19, 2020 at 7pm
Hannah Beardsley Middle School (515 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake)
To adhere to current health department guidelines regarding group gatherings, the District 47 board meeting on October 19th will be open to the public with a 50-person capacity. Temperature checks and a brief health screening will be conducted and attendees will be required to wear a face mask. To accommodate additional attendees, the board meeting will also be held virtually via an expanded Zoom platform (capacity: 1,000 attendees). We suggest using "speaker view" if joining the meeting virtually via Zoom, so you are able to see the board member speaking. See below for links.

CITIZENS INPUT
To address the Board of Education at the meeting in person: If you have questions or statements that pertain to agenda items or wish to address the Board on other topics, this is your opportunity. You are asked to stand, identify yourself, indicate the agenda item or topic you wish to refer to, and please keep your comments or presentation to 5 minutes.
To address the Board of Education virtually: If you are unable to attend the board meeting in person, we have provided a Citizens Input link for you to submit a statement that will be given to the Board of Education as a whole. Citizen statement submissions will no longer be read aloud at the open meeting but presented to the Board and provided as a link in the public portion of Board Docs. This link will be active until 6:30 pm on Mon., 10/19.
