HUNTLEY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 158: Important Information from the D158 School Nurses

Hillsideelementary

Huntley Community School District 158 issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.

Huntley 158 families,

As we prepare to begin welcoming students back into our school buildings under a hybrid model, we want to share some information from our school nurses regarding how our school health offices will be operating in light of the ongoing pandemic.

Health offices will be dedicated for those students experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms needing assessment and isolation. The Health Office will not be utilized as a resting place for students or for non-urgent health situations this year. Please send your student properly stocked with lip balm, dental wax, feminine hygiene supplies, and other supplies they may need during their school day.

Please read the message for additional information about symptoms that will require your student to remain home, how symptoms and suspected cases of COVID-19 will be handled, and procedures for confirmed cases of COVID-19 and close contacts.

Thank you, and stay well!
